In this client’s formal living room, a small bay window nook was previously underutilized. As part of the new space plan, we proposed adding a pair of swivel chairs to transform the area into a cozy, intimate spot—perfect for quiet conversation or simply enjoying the serene garden view.

One of the goals for this room was to create a calming atmosphere—light, bright, and minimal in pattern. After relocating from Eastern Canada, the homeowner wanted colors that reflected the spirit of our West Coast. To offer a thoughtful interior decorating experience, I incorporated custom fabric into this made-to-order swivel chair. The back features a subtly textured textile, reminiscent of a sandy shoreline, with soft sea green and faded pink tones that echo sea glass and the delicate hues found inside seashells.
